THE TRIP:

This years' Compassion Advocates Trip will take place between 3rd and 13th November.

Sixteen Advocates from across the U.K and two members of the Compassion HQ Team will be travelling to Chennai (formerly Madras) in South East India to experience the work of Compassion first-hand amongst some of the most vulnerable children from the poorest communities.

The team will spend time visiting the Compassion India Office in Chennai to explore the administrative aspects of managing a large and diverse range of projects. Time will also be spent at 4 different projects, assisting the staff and children in their activities. The team will also visit the homes of some of the children who attend the projects to gain an insight into the lifestyle of the familes and the levels of poverty and deprivation that exist for these families who are supported by Compassion.
